The Hawksbill turtle is a
medium sized marine turtle with a hawk like beak and a thorny shell. Brown and
likely striped, these turtles find the ideal resting ground on the island of
Upeh (Malacca).
Malacca is now home to the largest population of nesting Hawksbillturtles, with an average of 400 nesting annually.
